Harbor Point Project
The City of Gladstone Recreation Department and Recreation Board have developed a plan for the harbor expansion known as the Harbor Point Project (HPP).  The HPP will include harbor updating and expansion, boat launch expansion, restrooms, fish cleaning station, creation of a deep water dock, parking facilities, combination walk/bike paths and numerous park upgrades and amenities.  The project is designed to preserve the historical significance of the area while providing quality ADA access to a great fishery for anglers of all ages.  The project will be completed in stages using several grant funding sources.  The project will be staring with a grant from the Great Lakes Fishery Trust for the Gladstone Pier Project.

Gladstone Fishing Pier Project
This project will rebuild the pier that was originally constructed in the 1800's.  Encapsulating the existing structure with metal sheet piling and capping with concrete will create a pier that will withstand ice flows and provide many years of service.  The Gladstone Pier will be illuminated, railed and ADA accessible.

Updates will be posted as the projects progress.
