Board Vacancies

Vacancies have occurred recently and vacancies are expected in the future for membership on various City of Gladstone Commissions, Boards and Committees.  Click above title link for more information on vacancies and application.

 

Compost Site Entrance Changed

The entrance to the compost site has been changed.  The entrance on North Bluff Drive is closed; the new entrance is off of 29th Street north of the Cameron School.  Acceptable items  are grass clippings, leaves, tree trimmings, wood chips, sod and firewood.  Items not allowed are stumps, building materials and garbage.  FREE COMPOST - LOAD YOURSELF.

Fishing Pier

The fishing pier is now open for use.  The City wants to remind our citizens and visitors that the pier is for fishing not diving.  Diving off the pier is prohibited.

Funding for this project was provided with grants from the Michigan Natural Resource Trust Fund, Great Lakes Fisheries Trust, Michigan Coastal Management Program and the Gladstone DDA.

 

City Facility Rentals

The Recreation Department is taking reservations for rental of Ski Chalet, Beach House, Pavilions and Gazebo.  Check out the Facility Rental section of our website for more information.  Contact Nicole at 428-9222 for rental availability.
