Business Assistance - COVID-19 Outbreak

Two resources are available to assist businesses affected by the Coronavirus outbreak. One is a  SBA  Disaster Assistance Loans program for Small Businesses and the other is an expansion of Unemployment benefits in Michigan where the employers will not be charged if it is a result of the virus.

Also available is an MEDC Grant application for businesses. Details of the program as well as the application can be adressed with Ed Legault at eda@deltami.org. A sample application is available.

Commission Meeting Notice for March 30, 2020 Instructions for Public Comment Periods

 
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the meeting of the City of Gladstone City Commission scheduled for March 30, 2020 starting at 6:00 pm at City Hall, 1100 Delta Avenue, Michigan will be conducted virtually (online and/or by phone), due to health concerns surrounding Coronavirus/COVID-19 under the Governor of Michigan’s Executive Orders 2020-15 and 2020-21.

Public comment and public hearing comments submitted by 4:00 PM March 30, 2020 by email, fax, regular postal mail or dropped off to the City Drop Box shall be submitted into the record at the meeting:

Public comment periods will also be handled by telephone conferencing.  A dedicated phone line has been established to accept phone calls from the public.  Your call will be answered in the order received; please stay on the line you will be told what caller number you are.  If you hang up you will lose your position in the system and have to redial.

Gladstone DDA Seeking Applications for Farmer's Market Facilitator

DDA Farmer’s Market Facilitator

The City of Gladstone is looking to secure a Market Facilitator which would serve under the general direction of the DDA.  This person will coordinate details of the Farmer’s Market in Gladstone, MI.  This is a seasonal position that shouldn’t require more than a few hours per week.  The person hired should have good team building skills, communication skills and basic computer skills.  Anyone interested in applying should note that they can’t serve as the market facilitator and participate as a vendor.
